PLG – SC site is ready to roll, well sort of.

Well the semester is officially over in that I officially handed in all of my official assignments. Now what that means for you is that the link over there on the right side of this here page, you know the one labled PLG – SC, has now been changed to lead you to the site that I made for one of my classes this spring. Now it’s not all full up on content or anything fancy or smart like that, but it’s got some pretty colors and a picture or two to see. So go ahead, click on it! and then click back over here and let me know what you think. Pretty please?

All of these new search interfaces and technologies have inspired me to actively look for things to search for. It’s like being addicted to search. Constantly looking for something to find. How ridiculously wonderful is that? Awesome.

Wow. The things that myspace, friendster, livejournal, and the like make possible are a little mind boggling at times. Over the weekend I had the pleasure of reconnecting with a good friend from high school. While I must admit that even though myspace does steal precious moments from an otherwise productive lifestyle, friendster is too slow and inflexible to make it into my day, and i’ve never actually even used live journal, when these types of things happen, I have to say that they’re all pretty damn cool. and even mostly worth it.

if not here, then where?

I wish that I could say that time spent away from this blog was spent away from computers and maybe even (gasp) outside. But, of course, that is not the case. Although I have been hanging out in a few new neighborhoods.

Also, I’ve been busy travel booking, travel scheming, and travel investing (monetarily, professionally, personally, and otherwise). At the end of this month I’ll be heading to DC to visit Sarah and Pete, at the end of next month I’ll be heading to NH and Maine with my lady love (yippee!!), and at the end of the month after that I’ll be gettin’ jiggy with a bunch of librarians in the bayou.

Oh yes, and finishing my schoolwork…which I’m about to hop to now.
