I can smile, but Indiana won’t smile back.

Wow. Vickyg. and I drove almost sixty miles (one way) to see Brokeback Mountain in northern Indianapolis yesterday. Why? Well because the movie, you know that one with the gay cowpokes, is only playing in Indianapolis. Yeah, big surprise, it’s not available in the “liberal oasis” some people think Bloomington to be. And, even better, it’s only playing in ONE theatre in Indianapolis. Did you know that Indianapolis is the 13th largest city in the United States? ONE theater. This is so depressing on so many levels that I just can’t even begin to begin. All I can say is: Go see the goddamn movie.
